Developement History

How Carpe came about  :

The brand Carpe.ca was developed over a 7 year period, when Randall Pierce was called upon to manage the commercial portfolio of an established and respected Bailiff Company in Vancouver, BC.  At the outset he realized that the recovery business was fraught with legal perils and that anyone who was performing recovery in the field must follow strict guidelines and laws. Gathering this knowledge was difficult, as information was scattered and often contradictory.

 After attending the first Professional Bailiff Course at the Justice Institute of British Columbia,  he realized that proper people handling skills and training to approach each situation for a positive and non combative result, was not being addressed.

The solution was to develop a computerized and standardized

“SELF DIRECTING INFORMATION SYSTEM”.

 This system would assist the management of bailiffs and collection personnel by insuring that all assignments would be handled in an intelligent, systematic and well documented manner, thereby reducing the trauma of the debtors and the risk of successful legal suits stemming from the recovery of assets, against a client or its agents.
